Kai Games is a small independent site run by one person in Singapore. You can play every game here without an account. This page says plainly what is kept if you do make one.
What we keep
- Your email address and the name you give us, so you can sign in and we know what to call you.
- If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile picture link that Google sends us, and Google's id number for your account. We never see your Google password, and we ask Google for nothing else - no contacts, no calendar, no files.
- If you sign in with a password: a scrambled (hashed and salted) version of it. We cannot read your password.
- Your game progress - your saved lives, collections and settings - so you can carry on from another phone or computer. While the games are in beta, the developer can see this progress, and a record of what you did in the game (a life started, a card played, how long you played), to find out what works and what breaks. If you play without signing in, that record is filed under a random device number, not your name.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. It is used for nothing else.
- For a short time, the internet address a failed sign-in came from, to stop people guessing passwords. These are deleted within the hour.
What we do not do
- No adverts, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
- We do not send marketing email.
Where it is kept
The site and its database run on Cloudflare. Your information is stored there and is not passed to anyone else. Game fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Children
You do not need an account to play. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before making one.
Seeing or deleting your data
Email hello@kaigames.app from the address on your account and we will send you what we hold, or delete your account and every save with it. Deleting is permanent.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
